Mitchell Creek Rock N Blues Fest - Kniki and the Beale

Kniki and the Beale

Mike Beale and KNiKi Saleeba already had blossoming careers as solo artists when they teamed up professionally in 2009.

Based on either side of Australia this combustible, at times even competitive musical partnership creates songs and stories that reflect the nature of any relationship. Whether its music, work or a marriage, all relationships struggle to find a way to remain honest, to stay connected, to be genuine. And their music and lyrics provide a soundtrack to this struggle. At times a gentle melody at other times raucous and rambunctious.

Kniki is a commanding singer, her performance demanding attention, she delivers a lyric and message which you cannot help but listen too.Throughout the songs you can hear, even feel Mikes vocal and guitar take you on a journey of his influences from Eric Clapton to Robben Ford. At times supporting, and at other times pushing to be front and centre, barking back, competing for attention.

Two sell out albums, appearances at major Australian festivals, national tours throughout Australia and New Zealand, Overseas festival performances in New Zealand, India, Nepal and Thailand, their stage presence is larger than life and has an instantly identifiable and energetic delivery.

Current Australian Shows have seen them perform “The Sounds Of Woodstock” a tribute in parts to some of their musical roots and the success of those shows has seen them add some of that influential and iconic 60’s 70’s soundtrack to their current touring material.
