This is our absolute favourite time of the year and we can't wait to celebrate our 11th Mitchell Creek Rock 'N' Blues Fest with you! With over 150 of Australia's amazing rock and blues artists performing for three days and nights the calibre of the music is nothing short of incredible!

Important Ticket Update! right

We are experiencing a massive influx in ticket sales leading up to the festival, however, there are still tickets available online and there will be a limited number of tickets available at the Festival gate on the day.

We strongly recommend that you secure your tickets now online, and save money on the price of tickets at the Festival Entry.

TICKET INFO & PRICING!

WHAT YOU CAN BRING WITH YOU! right

  • Your E-Ticket/s
  • Your Photo ID (this should match your ticket) and will also be required to purchase from the bar and access the VIP Tent
  • Enough cash to get you through the day (there is an ATM on-site)
  • Protection from the elements (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, mosquito repellent, something warm for the evening)
  • Your Camping Supplies
  • A Torch is a good Idea

And don't forget your best party attitude!

LEAVE BEHIND! right

  • Illicit drugs - you won't need them
  • Glass
  • Fire / Fireworks

Please note: you may only use tobacco in designated outdoor
smoking areas.

 

Entry to the Festival / Wristbands right

  • Tickets will be redeemed at the gate for wristbands to gain entry and re-entry to the festival. Your Wristband must be worn for the duration of the Festival.
  • Entry may be refused if tickets are damaged or defaced in any way or are not purchased through an authorised point of sale.

Please note: broken wrist bands will not be honoured.

 

Are Campfires allowed? right

You are permitted to bring your Gas Cooking Equipment and Lighting.

No campfires allowed this year. It's just a bit too dry!

No campfires or naked flames are allowed as currently, we have a total fire ban.

Look out, koalas about! right

Kandanga and the whole Mary Valley is home to koalas so PLEASE lookout for these locals on the roads. They are extra active now in the breeding season, looking for love.

During this period, koalas are particularly vulnerable to dog attacks and vehicle strikes, so please keep an eye out for roaming koalas. Don't let your dogs out to wander and slow down on roads with koala signage.

Location / Getting Here right

Lot 3 Mitchell Creek Rd, Upper Kandanga, Mary Valley, Noosa Hinterland QLD

Situated on a beautiful 90-acre property in the heart of Queensland's Mary Valley just 2 hours drive north of Brisbane & 45 minutes west of Noosa.

We're off the grid - so don't trust your GPS. Just follow these directions:

  • Take Exit 253 on Bruce Highway
  • Turn into Kandanga
  • Drive 9km along Kandanga Creek Road
  • Crossover Doyles Bridge
  • Turn left onto Mitchell Creek Road
  • Enter the Festival Valley!

Please be aware the Mary Valley and Bruce Highway will have a large presence of traffic police so please drive safely and responsibly.

And remember you can stay on Monday till noon for recovery and there will great food and coffee available for breakfast that you can purchase from our stallholders.

Be environmental friendly right

Please be waste and water-wise!

We have provided bins throughout the festival site for your convenience.

By taking home your rubbish and leaving your festival site as you found it please you can help us keep the ticket prices lower for next year.

Follow our "Bring it in - take it out" policy will be much appreciated thank you!

Mitchell Creek is a disability-friendly event. We have a designated area including disability-friendly facilities and access to performance venues, as well as a reserved camping area with disability-friendly hot showers and toilets right near the main entrance to the event arena.

Chairs / Shade right

You may bring foldout chairs and/or personal shade into outdoor ticketed areas, however please no 3x3 marquees as these block the view from behind. Small beach covers are okay but must be set back from the stage. We may direct you to move these items from the ticketed area for any reason.

Cash, Food & Drink right

ATMS

We have an ATM on site but recommend you bring cash for the Bar, Stalls, Food, Ice, Soft drinks and Merchandise sales!

BYO Food & Drinks

There are BBQs available to cook food and you can BYO alcohol. We also have a licensed bar available and plenty of food stalls operating all weekend long for your convenience so you don't need to overpack your swag.

Multicultural Food Fest

Mitchell Creek Rock 'N' Blues Fest is for food lovers too! Over the weekend you can experience a multitude of Noosa Hinterland flavours featuring locally grown produce, as well as a wide range of multi-cultural cuisines, including:

  • Fresh locally grown produce
  • Distinct regional flavours
  • Super tasty meals from $10 - $15

Our food vendors are open from Thursday, all the way through to Monday Breakfast.

Onsite Facilities right

  • Water (please bring a reusable container)
  • Ice is available for purchase
  • Hot showers
  • There is good Telstra phone reception for 20 users at a time behind the big VIP Marque
  • Alcohol is available to purchase from the bar at reasonable pricing

Also, there is live music running till late each night!

 

Camping 

This is your opportunity to relax in an authentic Aussie rural setting. What better way to enjoy the atmosphere of great live music than camping right here on site! And, it's included in your ticket price for all of our 2 Day and Big Weekender ticket holders! This 90-acre property has camping areas ideally situated so you'll never be more than a few hundred metres from food, light, power, bins, clean toilet, and shower amenities, facilities and of course, the music!

Please note:

  • No open campfires or naked flames are allowed as there is currently a total fire ban
  • Camping distances between campsites must allow adequate room for emergency vehicle access

Bring your car, tent, caravan or campervan. There is plenty of space!
